Dr Luke Squires is a Principal Clinical Psychologist with specialist expertise in gender identity, gender dysphoria/incongruence and the psychological wellbeing of transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
He has extensive experience working within specialist gender services and supporting individuals exploring questions of gender identity, social transition, medical transition and broader psychological wellbeing. His work is informed by a commitment to thoughtful, evidence-informed and person-centred practice.

- Minority stress and resilience
- Research and service development
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Squires has contributed to research exploring the experiences of individuals accessing gender services, including the psychological impact of waiting for specialist care. Other ongoing projects include exploring the experiences of gender euphoria, homelessness and self-harm amongst our gender-diverse population. He is committed to supporting individuals in making informed decisions that are consistent with their values, circumstances and goals.
Dr Squires works collaboratively with individuals, families and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality psychological assessment, consultation and support.
